Believe it or not, we are headed into the final few months of 2018!

Want to know what the hottest trends have been in the aesthetic world?

In case you were dying to know (we know you are)–we’ve listed them below.

Any guesses on what 2019 will bring?

1. Treating lines before they surface

People are not waiting for lines to form before they start getting wrinkle relaxers. They are getting them before to prevent them from ever surfacing. Brilliant, right? Never seeing a wrinkle on the face? Heaven.

2. Nonsurgical is the new surgical

The nonsurgical trend will continue to grow as new and improved technologies are developed to shape, tighten, lift, erase, and generally rejuvenate the skin. Noninvasive procedures will continue to offer patients a multitude of options to meet their desire for self-improvement.

3. Nonsurgical nose jobs are back

Did you know they used to be a thing? It’s true! Now they are coming back and for a good reason! Fillers can be used to subtly improve the shape of the nose—and although not permanent, it is a less-expensive option than a traditional rhinoplasty. When compared to rhinoplasty, nonsurgical nose jobs can’t make a nose smaller, but they can help correct imperfections and camouflage areas that are concerning to patients.

4. Lip Injections

Some people want a full pout while others are bothered by their asymmetrical one. Either way, lip injections are ever popular for transforming, not just lips, but the way faces look in general. After a topical numbing agent is applied to the area, the filler is injected in and around the lips and normal activities can be resumed immediately. Beautiful pout anyone?

5. Botox

Botox continues to take the lead–and no surprise there! This treatment relaxes facial muscles with a subtle yet effective result. Considering this quick, relatively painless procedure can be done during your lunch break it’s no wonder it’s so popular.

6. Facial Contouring

You don’t have to go under the knife to lift sagging skin and smooth wrinkles. Facial Contouring allows our injectable artists to use injectable gel fillers, like Juvederm and Restylane, to gently lift facial features, reduce wrinkles and folds, and create a brighter, more rested look.

7. Cheek Fillers

Volume and definition can now be injected into the face to recreate youthful beauty with treatments such as Restylane and Juvederm.
