This first tip may be a no-brainer, but seems to be forgotten more often than it ought to be – moisturizing. It is a critical step in the journey to healthy, glowing, and youthful looking skin. Our skin may seem thick, but it is an easy target for damage.

Although there are arguments made to suggest that this next tip can be damaging, there are a number of important reasons to follow it. The tip is gentle exfoliation – the critical word being gentle.

Exfoliation of the skin is important for riding the top layer of the skin of dirt, oils, and dead skin in order to expose the newer, clean, more youthful skin hiding beneath.

Using a gentle exfoliant on the face and neck is particularly recommended as the kin on our faces is more exposed to the elements than other areas of our bodies. Gently exfoliating several times per week, followed by a moisturizer and SPF can do wonders for protecting and beautifying the skin on your face and body with results that will last you the rest of your life.
