Lip injections are happening every 20 minutes.
Which is no surprise why you’re so interested in them. They are way more popular than most people think and there are so many unanswered questions.
Will it hurt? What do I do before coming to my appointment? What filler do I get? Should I bring a picture?
We get it.
So. many. things.
So, instead of rattling off all the information that you can only find in a medical textbook, we are giving you all the REAL must knows before getting those lippies nice and plump!
Really think about how big you want your lips. This may seem obvious, but think how big, how quick. Are you ready for that really dramatic transformation, or should you start with more of a natural pout and increase as you recover? These are important questions to ask yourself before heading into your appointment!
Don’t leave the pic at home
Bring in those wish pics so we can see what your goal is and discuss the best route to get there!
Everyone’s hair is different just like the anatomy of everyone’s lips are different. The “look” of the lips on someone else may not look the same on you. So, we may not be able to get your lips to look exactly like the picture, but pictures can help us get an idea of what you’re looking for size and shape wise.
It’s a journey but we can (and will–if you want) take you to the big lips. We will always start with one syringe at a time and then have you return to continue adding until you are happy with your pout.
That Insta-Look isn’t always what you think!
Ladies, you won’t get Kardashian lips in one sitting or with .5 a syringe. Those big lippies you see all over Instagram sometimes have about 3 syringes in them! But, the good news is not all looks require 3 syringes. This is why a consult is always important before treatment!
Each filler can achieve different things
If you didn’t already know, there are multiple fillers that can be used for the lips! So how in the world do you know which one to choose from? This is the part where we get to help you figure it out. During a consult we will ask what you’re looking for, including size, feel, longevity…and budget. All of this will help you decide what the right choice is for you!
Filler isn’t forever
But it does last awhile! We’re not talking Botox where you have to visit every 3-4 months. Filler in the lips lasts about a year (on average)–sometimes longer. We always keep notes of what your original treatment was, so once you’re ready for a refill, we can help you achieve the same look you once had!
